My client came to me with their new to them pride and joy, a stunning Alfa red Alfa Romeo Guilia Quadrifoglio with black Teledial wheels. Previous ownership and life hadn’t been too kind to the aesthetics of this one, heavy swirl marks were plentiful. I was asked to provide a bespoke service to restore the Alfa to as best condition I could.
The cleaning process is mostly the same from car to car and you’ll have seen countless videos of people doing just that, me included. So I’m not going to write about how to wash a car lest you be bored to tears. The one thing I will say is if paint correction is being carried out the most important step before that is decontamination. If any deposits such as tar are left on the paints surface the machine will just drag that around and you’ll be chasing your tail.
Overall it took me 2 days to bring this Alfa back to its full former glory after a deep interior clean, decontamination wash, paint correction including wheels. For last stage protection I used a 2 year wheel and brake ceramic coating, and a 1 year ceramic coating for the paintwork. It now looks absolutely stunning with so much clarity and gloss in the paintwork.
